My name is Claire and I am the Founder and Creator of Card Candy Shop UK 💌

Throughout my life I was known as the ‘Poem Girl’ in all of my previous workplaces. I would be asked to write bespoke verses for colleague celebrations, such as birthdays, weddings, retirement, good luck, congratulations, new baby, engagements etc. I just loved it and my work friends did too. 😊

When I left those workplaces, my former colleagues would still call me up and ask me to create poems for their family members’ special birthdays etc. It was an absolute joy for me to do this.

I love writing poems of any sentiment…encouraging, happy, supportive, funny – it comes so easily to me 🦋

It was years later that I decided to put my poems on greetings cards and I’ve never looked back. 😀
